Hi, my name is Kellie and I'm the owner of Messy Friends.

About Me

Hi, I'm Kellie — mum to three beautiful girls aged 5, 3, and 1.

Before becoming a mum, I spent five years working as a childcare educator. But once I had my own children, I realised I needed a more flexible way to work and still do what I love.

​

During my time in childcare, I was lucky enough to run playgroups and messy play sessions — and that’s where I discovered my true passion. I loved watching little ones explore, learn, and create through sensory play… and seeing the joy on their faces (and sometimes the mess on their clothes!).

That’s what inspired me to start Messy Friends — a space for kids to have fun, get messy, and make new friends, while parents can relax knowing everything is taken care of.

So I hope you’ll join me for a session soon — let’s make some memories (and a bit of mess) together!

About Messy Friends
Messy Friends is a Perth WA children's activity business that is all about giving children the chance to explore, learn through play and make new friends. We enable parents to have their children involved in messy activities without the worry about having to come up with ideas, set up, pack away and best of all NO MESS TO CLEAN UP!! It is all done for you! We have fortnightly events throughout the suburbs of Perth Western Australia and can make messy play the star of your child's birthday party.

Each fortnightly session is based around a theme and they run throughout the school terms. Think of these sessions as a 'playgroup meets messy play', a place for you and your children to enjoy the activities, but also to interact with each other and create friendships.

We can also provide messy play activities for your child's birthday party. All you have to do is choose the package that best suits your needs, the activities you want, the location to hold the party and we will do the rest. We provide all the messy play items, do the set up and also the clean up.

Finally we have sensory/messy play kits that you can buy and do with your children in the comfort of your own home. Some of these kits will be smaller versions of our activities we do at our sessions, and will include everything you need for that activity.

What is Messy Play

Messy play is a children's activity that involves children using their senses to explore and investigate activities involving paint, sand, water and food items. They don't have to worry about how messy they get, they just have to have fun and learn while they play.
